18/9/2007 - Expression of Wish Forms

All members should ensure they have completed an Expression of Wish (EoW) form, advising the Trustee of the people to whom they would like any benefits paid in the event of death whilst a SIPS member.

The Trustee is not bound by your wishes, in order that any death benefits can be classified as discretionary payments and not be subject to Inheritance Tax. However, your wishes will be taken into consideration.

If you think you have not completed an EoW form, or your personal circumstances have changed since you last completed one, please contact the SIPS team to request one.
