Joining SIPS
Do I have to join?
You are not obliged to join the Scheme but if you do not join at the first opportunity you may only join later with the specific permission of your employer and the Trustee.
If this permission is granted, you may be asked to complete a Declaration of Health Form and may then be asked to attend a medical examination. This could result in the Trustee restricting your benefits.
